My Education
After receiving my high school diploma at Jordan Elbridge High School, I attended Elmira College in the Southern Tier of New York. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Music. As a double major, I received a well-rounded education that I am able to use every day - especially working with kids!

My Teaching Experience
After graduation in 2016, I began working for a private music school located on the Main Line in Philadelphia. Over the course of two academic years, I worked with a total of 28 students (26 of which stayed in my schedule until I moved away!) I learned so much about working with students of varying ages, strengths, differences, needs, and preferences.

My Music Experience
I began private piano lessons at the age of 5, and I had a very structured "classical" approach to piano from the very beginning. I continued building my repertoire and strengthening my piano skills all the way through high school.

During college, my music degree concentration was in classical history and theory, and I took private advanced piano lessons from the director of the music department every semester until graduation. I also seized the opportunity to take guitar lessons at college as well, and I took a year of private guitar lessons from a Master Teacher in Philadelphia. Alongside piano and guitar, I also picked up the ukulele.

These days, you can also find me playing the organ for a local nondenominational church in Elbridge.
